The Jubilee is a celebration marking a special anniversary, particularly a 50th anniversary, and represents a season of festivity. It can also refer to a period proclaimed by the Pope in the Roman Catholic Church as a time of solemnity.

The term "jubilee" originates from the Hebrew word "yobel," which means "ram's horn trumpet." In the Jewish New Year, a ram's horn trumpet is used to announce the jubilee.

In the 50th year, Pope Francis opened the Holy Door, inaugurating the 2025 Jubilee, which he has termed a "Jubilee of Hope." This event is traditionally celebrated every 25 years.

Leviticus provides clear instructions from Elohim/Yahweh regarding this celebration: “And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you when each of you shall return to his property, and each of you shall return to his clan. That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you;  . For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You may eat the produce of the field. Therefore, you shall do My statutes, keep My rules, and perform them; then you will dwell in the land securely.”

If you follow the Hebrew calendar, your Jubilee year began in September 2024 and will last until September 2025. Regardless of the calendar you use, Happy Jubilee! May it be a holy time as Elohim grants us a year of celebration.
